Fredreca "Fritzi" Starr WALTERS Johnson 1924 - 2007 SHS 1942

PORT LAVACA - Fredreca "Fritzi" Starr Johnson, daughter of Jeanette Starr Tschirgi and Karl Fredrick Walters, was delivered into this life by her 15-year old Aunt Peg on April 3, 1924 at her Grandmother Tschirgi's home in Buffalo, Wyo.

Of the many hobbies Fritzi enjoyed in her life, none satisfied her soul more than her love for oil painting. During the last hours of her life on Dec. 25, 2007, she was surrounded by family, friends, and her beloved paintings.

If you had the privilege of meeting Fritzi you would have experienced three things: an open invitation to stop by any time except between 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. during "my show", sore arms from being volunteered to "rub my back', and a good laugh from your encounter.

Fritzi is survived by her children, Debra Davis and her husband Mike of Point Comfort, Chris Archibald and his wife Penny of Corpus Christi, and Janna Ralston and her husband Gary of Port Lavaca; and grandchildren, Aaron Ralston of Victoria, Jennifer Schulte and husband Tommy of The Woodlands, Mary-Michael Taylor and her husband Ronny of Hemphill, and Tammy Hart and her husband Justin of Marshall. Also surviving her is her brother, Yorkie Walters of Buffalo, Wyo.; cousins, Beverly Hiza of Story, Wyo. and David Masters of Palo Alto, Calif.; and her "ornery" cat, Moose.

Her family thanks the staff and residents of Trinity Shores Assisted Living and the Accolade Home Care for their kindness and care.

They invite all of Fritzi's friends to celebrate her life at a memorial service at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28th at the Trinity Shores Assisted Living Chapel, 201 Trinity Shores Drive, Port Lavaca, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fritzi S. Johnson Charitable Fund, in the care of Wells Fargo Investments, Attention: Aaron Ralston, 1501 E. Mockingbird Lane, 1st Floor, Victoria, Texas 77904. The fund will be used to benefit the causes to which Fritzi was most devoted.

Words of comfort for Fritzi's family may be shared at www.mem.com.
