SHERIDAN - Funeral Liturgy for Helen M. Minick,72, will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. James Schumacher and the Rev. Mr. Joe Kristufek officiating. Interment will follow in the Sheridan Elks Cemetery. Vigil for the Deceased will be recited on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Champion Funeral Home.

Mrs. Minick died at the Sheridan County Memorial Hospital on Aug. 23, 1996.

She was born June 1, 1924, in Kleenburn, the daughter of Joseph J. and Katherine M. Bliskey Poll. She attended school in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High in January 1942. She then attended Heiman’s Business College.

She married Charles Minick on May 15, 1943, in San Francisco, where she was employed by the federal government.

After returning to Sheridan, she was employed by Mountain Bell for 31 years and retired in 1979.

She was preceded in death !y her husband on Nov. 13, 1990; one son, Jackie, in October 19(54 and her parents, Joseph in 1973 and Katherine in 1978.

Survivors include one son, Douglas Minick and three grandchildren, all of Ranchester; and two brothers, Edward and Joe Poll, both of Sheridan.

Memorials can be given to the Whedon Cancer Foundation, the Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter or Holy Name Church Building Fund, in care of Delphine Toner at First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 2007, Sheridan 82801.
