Mrs. Lois Cecelia Shope. 27. wife of Irvin D. Shope of 1223 North Twentv-fourth street, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday at a Billings hospital of a bowel obstruction. She had been ill three weeks, since the birth of a child.

She was born March 26. 1924. in Red Bluff. Cal.. a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Gale, and had spent most of her life in Sheridan. Wyo.

She was married to Mr. Shope April 9, 1943, in Billincs, and moved here in 1946.

Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Robert Dale, 4 1/2; her mother, Mrs. Frances Gale of 1223 North Twenty-fourth street; and a sister, Mrs. Harry Oncklet of Sheridan.

The body is at Smith's funeral home.
