AnnaMarie COLMAN Wallace 1924 - 2009 SHS 1942

AnnaMarie Colman Wallace passed away July 8, 2009, at Billings Health and Rehabilitation Center.

AnnaMarie was bom Sept. 2, 1924, to Clarence and Helen Laier Colman in Sheridan, Wyo. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School. Much of her life was spent working as a secretary in Florida before coming to Billings and working with Exxon Mobil.

She married James R. Wallace in Billings in 1971. They were married 16 years.

Gardening, knitting, reading the Bible and cats were her favorite things in life. She warmed her family and friends with her afghans and decorated many homes with her handwork crafts. Charities throughout Billings have received gifts of her knitting and baking, which she collected recipes for over many years.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Jim Wallace; her parents, Clarence and Helen Colman; sisters Lois Helen and Ruth Colman; and brothers Wilbur and Fred Colman.

She is survived by sisters Evelyn Straight and Margaret Colman of Billings; brothers Earl (Dorothy) Colman of Casper, Wyo., and Kenneth (Marion) Colman of Billings; and several nieces and nephews and great -nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 12, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 13, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary, with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
