Burton Burr BEZOLD 1922 - 1992 SHS 1942

SHERIDAN - Services for Burton Burr Bezold, 69, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home by Rev. Ted Tromble, with interment in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Bezold died Jan. 10, 1992, at his home of natural causes.

He was born Aug. 27, 1922, the son of Albert and Cora May (Sparks) Bezold in Sheridan. On Jan. 16, 1947, he married Shirley M. May in Hardin, Mont.

Mr. Bezold was employed as a cook at the Ft. McKenzie Veterans Administration Hospital for 35 years. He enjoyed cooking at Camp Story and at First Presbyterian Church.

His hobbies included working with the Boy Scouts and repairing and refinishing furniture.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.

Survivors include his wife of Sheridan; one son, David Bezold of Sinclair; one daughter, Gwen Marler of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Either flowers or memorials to the Sheridan County Hospice in care of Mary L. Corley, Box 2007, Sheridan, Wyo., 82801 would be appreciated by the family.
