SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Rose A. Green worked in the Sheridan County Clerk’s Office for 40 years, becoming the chief abstracter by the time she retired in 1988. Her most memorable moment was the big move to new court house building in 1982. She enjoyed the people she worked with and the people of Sheridan County.

Mrs. Green, 66, died Tuesday in Deconess Hosptial in Billings of natural causes.

She was born in Kleenburn, Wyo, a daughter Luigie and Mary Arnieri. She grew up and attended schools in in Kleenburn and Sheridan, Wyo.; graduating from Sheridan High School in 1942.

On Aug. 17, 1947 she married Lee Green, Jr, in Sheridan.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Patrick of Gillette. Wyo, and Robert of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Joe Arniert of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Mary Smith, Ann Arnieri and Jean Springer, all of Sheridan and four grandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday in Ferries Funeral Home. A mass of Christian burial will be offered 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Name Catholic Church with burial in Sheridan Elks Cemetery.
