Leon Walter Sieczkowski, Sheridan County native, died Monday at the Sheridan Veterans Administration Medical Center.

He was born Oct. 30, 1923, at Acme, a son of Walter and Susie Sieczkowski.

He was a retired truck driver and surveyor assistant.

He was a member of Holy Name Church and John Donald Garbutt Post No. 7, American Legion.

He was a veteran of World War II.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter, who died in April 1954.

Survivors include his mother Susie, Sheridan, two sisters, Dorothy Goodmay, Sheridan, Rose Mary Kostenbauer, Buffalo.

Rosary will be recited at 7 pm Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home. Mass of the Christian Burial 9:30 am Thursday at Holy Name church with Rev. William Delaney officiating. Burial in Sheridan Municipal cemetery.
