Eugene Albert Sieczkowski, 79, of North Port, FL, died on Monday (January 14, 2002).

He was born in Monarch, WY on April 16, 1923.

In his retirement, Gene and his wife, Gloria traveled much of the country in their motor home and settled in North Port, FL in 1999.

He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus and a parishioner of San Pedro Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Gloria; seven children, Sharon Marvel of East Hartford, Mary S. Eaton of Port Charlotte, FL, Paul A. Sieczkowski of Rockport, MA, Christine A Gagne of Cromwell, Victoria Flores of Cheyenne, WY, Sally Winden of Fort Collins, CO, Thomas E. Sieczkowski of East Hartford; a brother, Robert Siegoski of Buffalo, WY; three sisters, Irene Kekich of Sheridan, WY, Theresa Markam of Aurora, CO, Ruth Whaples of Renton, WA; 15 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his son, Richard.

Services will be held in Florida.
