OBITUARTIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - November 05 2004

SHERIDAN - Services for Sheridan resident Norma Jean Hensley, 80, will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, Nov. 5, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Sheridan by the Revs. David Duprey and Kevin Jones. Interment will be in Sheridan Elks Cemetery.

She died Nov. 2, 2004, at Westview Health Care Center in Sheridan.

Born Jan. 8, 1924, in Aurora, Ill., she was the daughter of Arthur and Mildred (Clark) Runge; and was raised and educated in Illinois. She then moved to Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1941.

After graduation, she worked for Wortham Machinery for a few years.

On June 13, 1948, she married Jess Hensley in Sheridan.

Her interests included golf, bowling, gardening, growing flowers, and reading. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years of Sheridan; son, Scott, of Phoenix; two daughters, Cheri Moon of Sundance and Mary Mentock of Sheridan; brother, Dick Runge of McPherson, Kan.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dale; a brother, Jack; and her parents.

Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Library or St. Peter's Episcopal Church, in care of Kay Roush, First Federal Savings Bank, 46 W. Brundage St., Sheridan, WY 82801.
