SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Clara I. West, 54, a retired medical secretary for the VA Hospital, died Sunday in Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Born in Sheridan, she was a daughter of Robert and Monti Powell.

In 1941 she married Hugh West in Hardin, Mont. Her husband died in 1973.

Survivors include a son, Guy, and a daughter, Diana Bent, both of Billings, Mont.; a brother, William, a sister, Rene Demchok, and her mother, all of Sheridan.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Champion Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
