SHERIDAN - Mass of Christian Burial for Sheridan resident Mary Bach, 79, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Ron Stolcis officiating.  Interment will be in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

A rosary will be recited and 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kane Funeral Home in Sheridan.

She died July 12, 2002, at Sheridan Manor.

Born March 28, 1923, in Kleenburn to Bruno and Elizabeth (Varcalli) Polito, she attended school at Squirrel Creek.  The family then moved to Sheridan, where she later met and married Ray Bach in 1952.

A faithful member of Holy Name Church, she loved spending time with her family, as well as gardening, sewing and cooking.

Survivors include her husband of Sheridan; her son, Marty Bach and his wife of Sheridan; three sisters, Rose Baker and her husband and Ellen Polito of Sheridan, and Lois Lewis of Hardin, Mont.; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Josephine Polito.
