SHERIDAN - Services for Mary Catherine LeBay, 74, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Champion Funeral Home by the Very Rev. Eugene Sullivan. Interment will follow in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. LeBay died Nov. 26, 1997, in Houston.

She was born Sept. 26, 1923, in Sheridan, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Furno) Musso. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1941 and from Sheridan Hospital School of Nursing in 1945. She then did post-graduate work in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.

On Sept. 3, 1948, she married William D. LeBay in Sheridan.

Mrs. LeBay was a registered nurse in many areas throughout the United States. She was a member of the Wyoming and Texas Nurses' Associations and Beta Sigma Phi.

She had a lifelong interest in arts and crafts and sewing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Nota Mentock.

Survivors include her husband, and a daughter, Cheryl K. LeBay, both of Katy, Texas; a brother in law of Sheridan; and. several cousins in the Sheridan area.

Vigil for the deceased will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday at Champion Funeral Home.
