SHERIDAN - Private family services will be held at a later date for Genevieve P. Moyer, 72, who died March 10, 1994, at Sheridan Manor of natural causes.

Mrs. Moyer was born April 23, 1 921, in Dixon, Wyo., the daughter of Harry W. and Pauline A. (Clardy) Lewis.

On June 1 7, 1 943, she married Edwin W. Moyer in Big Horn.

Following high school, she attended nurses' training.

In 1963, she established the RA Ceramic Shop in her home south of Sheridan and operated it for 25 years.

Mrs. Moyer was an excellent horsewoman and an avid chariot racer for five years. A member of Wyotana Chariot Club, she enjoyed her family, the mountains and her horses.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband and a brother, Robert Lewis.

Survivors include a daughter, Peggy J. Browning-Hepp of Sheridan; a son, Richard W. Moyer of Denver, Colo.; two brothers. Jack Lewis of Meeteetse, Ralph Lewis of Lakeport, Calif.; three sisters, Betty Conner, Jo Smith and Jane Durkee, all of Sheridan. Also surviving are her six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place.

The Champion Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
