Funeral services for Miss Esther Mae Lenertz 20 daughter of Mr and Mrs Vincent M Lenertz former Laurel residents were conducted Wednesday of last week at the Holy Name Catholic church in Sheridan Wyo.

Miss Lenertz died suddenly of meningitis the previous Saturday at Spokane Wash where she had been employed.

The Lenertz family resided here several years and operated a grocery store on West Main street. They later moved to Miles City former home of Mr Lenertz and for the past four and a half years have lived in Sheridan where Mr Lenertz is manager of Georges Food Market.

Miss Lenertz was bom May 6 1923 at Glendive. In Spokane she was employed as comptomotrist at Stones Food store. She was a graduate of the Sheridan high school where she won a four-year scholarship at the University of Wyoming.

Surviving are the parents and one brother Vincent Jr.

Out of town friends at the funeral were Mrs Jack Culhane of Spokane aunt of the deceased' who accompanied the remains to Sheridan; Mr and Mrs Logan Killworth of Miles City aunt and uncle of the deceased; Mrs B Gatz and Mrs John Lenertz, aunts from Miles City; Mrs Charies Pythian and daughter from Billings; Corp. Bob Chase of the Rapid City S. D., S. D. army air base and Mrs Fred Hilgert of Laurel.
