RANCHESTER, Wyo. - John Edward Hallworth, 61, died Tuesday at his home in Ranchester.

He was born March 14, 1921 in Monarch, Wyo., a son of John and Ruby Hallworth.

He married Agnes Legerski in Hardin in 1946.

He worked for the Public Works Department of the city of Sheridan.

During World War K, he served in the Navy.

Survivors include his wife and a son, James Edward Hallworth, both of Ranchester; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Edith) Johnson, Mrs. Delbert (Ann) Martin, both of Big Horn, Wyo., Mrs. Lloyd (Ethel) Myers of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Lee (Jean) Wade of Flagstaff, Ariz., and two grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Champion Funeral Home in Sheridan. Cremation will follow.
