Velora Mae GIELISH Kreger 1922 - 1975 SHS 1941

SHERIDAN - Services for Velora Mae Kreger, 52, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Champion's Funeral Home. The Rev. Kenneth Rice will officiate.

Mrs. Kreger died Sunday at Sheridan County Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 2, 1922, in Sheridan, she was married to Victor Kreger on Dec. 29, 1943, in Hardin, Mont.

She graduated from Sheridan Memorial Hospital In 1944 as a registered nurse, and had worked there prior to her illness.

Mrs. Kreger was a member of the Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Friendship Chapter No. 51, Daughters of the Nile, Wyoming Nurses' Association, and the United Trainmen's Union Auxiliary.

Survivors Include the widower, Victor; one daughter, Mrs. Herb (Vicky) Schroder, Ranchester; three sons, Dennis, of Ridgefield, Wash., Roger, a student at Bozemen, Mont, and Rodney Lee of Sheridan; her parents, Clarence Gielish, of Marrieta, Calif., and Leila Geilish, of Sheridan; two half-brothers, Raymond, of Albany, Ore., and Robert, of Jasper, Ore. ; a half-sister, Loretta Macauley of Springfield, Ore., and five grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Masonic section of the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Memorials to the Shrine Children's Hospital will be appreciated by the family.
