SHERIDAN - Interment for James M. Cox Sr., 76, will be held on Friday at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Funeral services were held in Long Beach, Calif.

He died June 22, 2000, in Long Beach.

He was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Sheridan, the son of Ernest J. Cox and Frances M. Brooks. He was a graduate of Sheridan High School and the University of Wyoming Law School.

Survivors include sons, James M. Cox Jr., of Long Beach, Calif., and Kevin D. Cox of Brea, Calif.; a daughter, Linda Harvill of Denver; and a sister, Geraldine Lokanc of Orland Park, 111.

Champion Funeral Home of Sheridan is in charge of interment.
