SHERIDAN - Graveside services for Joe Bury, 70, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Mr. Bury died Feb. 15, 1994, of respiratory failure following an extended battle with several lung ailments.

He was born May 7, 1923, in Monarch, Wyo., the eldest son of Joe and Mary Bury.

An avid fisherman and sports enthusiast, Mr. Bury competed in horseshoe tournaments when his health permitted.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia, whom he married April 6. 1946; a daughter, Gail of Bothell, Wash.; a son, Steven of Laramie; two grandchildren; one greatgrandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Champion Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday.
