OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - January 13 2006

SHERIDAN -- A memorial service for Sheridan resident Jack Lee Webb, 83, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Kane Funeral Home in Sheridan by Therman Briggs.

Cremation will have taken place and interment will follow in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

He died Jan. 7, 2006, at Westview Health Care Center.

Born July 22, 1922, in Sheridan, he was the son of Mary (Burkhart) and John Webb.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the North African and Indian campaigns.

A utilities foreman for the city of Sheridan for 36 years, he retired in 1984.

He was a member of Eagles Lodge No. 186 and enjoyed farming, working with horse teams and breaking horses; and, especially, spending time with his friends.

Survivors include his nephew, David Mascher of Tacoma, Wash.; two nieces, Anita Mascher of Port Townsend, Wash., and Carol Marler of Indianapolis; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Mascher.
