Vivian I. Lindley, 79, formerly of Sheridan died Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at the Community Hospital in Torrington.

No funeral services are planned at this time.  Cremation has taken place under arrangements by Colyer Funeral Home of Torrington.

Mrs. Lindley was born April 11, 1922, in Rosette to Charles Clark and Addie Taylor.  She grew up and was educated in Sheridan.

She married Roger Cecil Lindley March 28, 1959, in Sheridan.  The family moved to Newcastle in 1964, and she worked 21 years for Plains Engineering, retiring in 1988.

She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Her husband, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Connie Rainbolt of Torrington, Susan Velten of Newcastle and Leah Duclo of Gillette; a sister, Fae Atterbery of Vernal, Utah; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
