SHERIDAN -- Graveside services for Anna Lucille Sundquist Kelly, 83, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 20, 2006, in the Masonic section of Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with Pastor Gordon Henderson officiating.

She died of lung cancer on Sept. 15, 2006, at Westview Healthcare Center.

She was born Jan. 16, 1923, in Sheridan, to John and Hazel Sundquist. She grew up on Brooks Street in the heart of downtown Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School with the class of 1940.

She married the love of her life, her high school sweetheart, Gerald Kelly, and they raised two sons together, Melvin and Gerald Jr., who preceded his parents in death.

She worked as a bookkeeper for MDU, the Stevens Fryberger store and John Burtis. After retiring, they then pursued new careers of traveling, shopping and collecting. They were active in the Good Sams Travel Club and spent extended vacations wandering the southern United States.

She was an avid collector and loved her jewelry, china, teapots, cookbooks, craft books and never met a teddy bear she didn't love.

She was a member of the Creative Fiber Guild sewing circle and created exquisitely made, colorful jackets, blazers and vests that will be treasured by family and friends fortunate enough to receive one.

Survivors include one son, Melvin; a daughter-in-law, Linda; a grandson, Coree and his wife and their three children, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, in care of Tara Keep, First Federal Savings Bank, P.O. Box 6007, Sheridan, 82801.
