He married the former Betty Jane Kolstad on April 21, 1949, in Billings Mont.

Survivors: Wife Betty Jane Snyder of Granbury sons and daughter-in-law John Marcus and Cyretha Snyder and Thomas Hunter Snyder all of Eastland and Charles Robert Snyder of Granbury daughters and sons-in-law Isla Jane and Randall Carpenter of Stephenville and Patricia Helen and John Chaggaris of Benbrook brother Marcus Snyder Jr of San Antonio and 11 grandchildren.
