OBITUARIES - CASPER STAR-TRIBUNE - September 07 2005

SHERIDAN -- A graveside service for Sheridan resident Rosie P. Wolfe, 82, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9, in Sheridan Elks Cemetery by Fr. Ronald Stolcis.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Champion-Ferries Funeral Home in Sheridan.

She died Sept. 2, 2005, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Born Sept. 14, 1922, in Kleenburn, she was the daughter of Elizabeth (Mediate) and Frank Pedulla; and was raised, educated and graduated from high school in Sheridan.

She then married Roy E. Cotton. The couple later divorced.

She cooked on ranches for many years and worked as a telephone operator for Mountain Bell until her retirement.

After that, she married E.C. "Bud" Wolfe in Sheridan. He preceded her in death in 1987.

She was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church and Telephone Pioneers.

Her interests included hunting, fishing, and cooking for friends and family.

Survivors include her son, Dan Cotton of Richmond, Calif.; two daughters, Diana Sonderby of Sheridan and Donna Hobbs of Baton Rouge, La.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three infant children and eight brothers and sisters.
