Edith Meryle Crayne 58 a 32-year area resident died Jan 4 1981 in a Vancouver hospital.

Mrs Crayne was born Feb 28 1922 in Sheridan Wyoming. She taught in Wyoming before marrying in 1947 when she became a homemaker

She is survived by her husband Jesse Crayne at home at 1965 West Side Highway Space 41; a daughter, Tina Shadiow of Longview; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Baker of Castle Rock and Nola Wills of Kelso; a son, Jesse Crayne of Kelso a stepson, Neale Crayne also of Kelso; two sisters, Pat Rifenberry of Salt Lake City Utah and Phyllis Davis of Greely Colo; two brothers, CD Morgan of Glen Ellen Calif and' Bob Morgan of Los Angeles; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday in the Steele Funeral Chapel with the Rev Bud Henthorn officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow at Longview Memorial Park.
