Eva Jean MINICK Morgenweck 1921 - 1995 SHS 1940

SHERIDAN - Memorial services for Sheridan resident Eva Jean Morgenweck, 73, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home by Jeanne Morrison. Interment of the cremains will be at the Masonic section of the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Morgenweck died Feb. 4, 1995, at her home.

She was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Upton, the eldest child of Hubert and Sara (Norris) Minick. The family moved to Sheridan in 1924. In 1940, she graduated from high school. Except for the years during World War II and a brief stay in Julesburg, Colo., following the war, she lived her life in Sheridan.

On Feb. 14, 1941, she married Robert Morgenweck at Hardin, Mont.

Mrs. Morgenweck was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist. Her interests included her family, music, church and the welfare of animals.

Preceding her in death were two brothers, Elliot and James Minick.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Robert Morgenwick III of Lander and Larry Morgenweck of Milford, Conn.; two brothers, Dr. Hubert Minick of Canoga Park, Calif, and Richard Minick of New York City; and two grandchildren.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society or to the Mental Health Center of Northern Wyoming would be appreciated and may be made in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, Sheridan 82801.
