SHERIDAN - Mass of Christian Burial for Sheridan resident Albino "Bino" Eli Mancini, 83, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan by Fr. Ron Stolcis. Interment, with full military honors, will follow in Sheridan Elks Cemetery.

Rosary and visitation will begin at 7 p.m. today, Oct. 8, at Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan.

Born March 2, 1921, in Kleenburn, he was the son of Domenico and Pasqua Mancini; and had lived in the Sheridan area all of his life, except for three years of military service.

He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945. While in the service, he coached sports.

On June 11, 1949, he married Darlene Smith.

They owned and operated Bino's Grocery, which recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.

He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren; and enjoyed baseball, softball, and watching sports. He was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, Sheridan Elks Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years of Sheridan; five daughters and their husbands, Emily Bentzen of Tucson, Ariz., Cynthia Fall of Bakersfield, Calif., Rebecca Reimers of Banner, Melissa Jacobson of Johnston, Iowa, and Pamela Nimrick of Grapevine, Texas; two sisters, Mary Pine and Nora Gazdik, both of Sheridan; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
