Frank M. Lewis, 93, died March 9, 2016.

He is survived by his children, Donald Lewis and wife, Jan, Nancy Phillips and boyfriend, Ron Mansoldo; grand-daughters, Kendra Hensley, Kelsey Chiotti and husband, David, Monica Sower and husband, Daniel, Michelle Winters and husband, Thomas; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Caiden, Landon, Brooklyn and McKenna; and his brother, Grant Lewis.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara, and his sister, Dorothy.

Born and raised on a ranch in Sheridan, Wyoming, Mr. Lewis proudly served our country in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII.

He met the love of his life, Barbara, while working as a Radiologist in Portland, Oregon, where both of their children were born.

Safeco insurance transferred the family to Albuquerque in 1957. He continued to work in the insurance business until he retired.

Frank loved to work in his garden and enjoyed sharing his produce with family and friends. He and Barbara traveled to many destinations together. He enjoyed taking daily walks and spending time with his family. Frank was a wonderful husband, terrific father, and loving Papa. He was a gracious and kind gentleman and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Private services and burial will take place in the Santa Fe National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Presbyterian Hospice, 8300 Constitution Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110. The family requests that each of you continue random acts of kindness in his memory.
