Delores Davis Ellis, 71, died April 2, Stockton, Calif., after an extended illness.

Mrs. Ellis was born in Sheridan on Feb. 20, 1922, to Harry H. and Martha Burns Davis.

She was a 1940 graduate of Sheridan High School and a graduate of Sheridan Beauty College. She worked as a beautician in Gillette before moving to California in 1931. She also worked as a waitress for 15 years.

In 1974 she married Frank Ellis in Glendale, Calif. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a brother, Vernon C. Davis of Albuquerque, N.M., and a sister, Phyllis Holub of Sheridan.

Placement of the remains has been made in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Big Horn.
