Sylvia Ann DANIELS Silla 1922 - 1992 SHS 1940

SHERIDAN - Funeral liturgy for Sheridan resident Sylvia Ann Silla, 70, will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Name catholic Church by Father Tom Kadera. Vigil tor the Deceased will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Champion Funeral Home. Rite of Committal will be in the Elks Cemetery.

Mrs Silla died Nov. 29, 1992, at Sheridan Manor.

She was born June 8, 1922, in Kleenburn, Wyo., the daughter of Bernard and Nunzia (Di'Cesare) Daniels. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1940.

On March 3, 1946, she married Dadio Silla.

A member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Mrs. Silla was also a member of Holy Name Council of Catholic Women, Saint Patrick's Group, St. Agness Group and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

Mrs. Silla worked as a secretary at the church school and volunteered her services at the Veterns Adminiistarion Hospital, the Christian Youth Organization, various voting polls, and Memorial Hospital blood hank and special services desk,

She was also a campaign manager for Sen Gale W McGee.

Mrs. Silla was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, a daughter, Nancy Silla of Denver, Colo.; her son, David Silla of Sheridan; two sisters, Mary Gavito and Leona Goodmay, both of Denver; two brothers, Gilbert and Tarp Daniels, both of Sheridan, one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorials to either Holy Name Catholic Church Building Fund; the Holy Name Catholic School Foundation; or to the Sheridan Quarter Back Club would be appreciated. Contributions may be made in care of First Interstate Bank, Sheridan, 82801.
