SHERIDAN - Services for Helen M. Sales, 71, of Sheridan twill be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Episcopal Church by Rev. Ray Clark. Burial will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.

Mrs. Sales died July 15, 1993, at Sheridan Manor of natural causes.

She was born Feb. 1, 1922, in Sheridan, the daughter of Elmer and Alice Aspaas. She received her education in Sheridan, graduating from Sheridan High School in 1940. She then went into nursing training, and received a R.N. degree from Sheridan County Memorial Hospital in 1943.

In 1944, she entered the Army Air Force Nurse Corps, and after the service, she returned to Sheridan where she was a nurse at Memorial Hospital. She was known for her caring ways with all who came in contact with her.

In 1958, she married Glen Sales, and they traveled extensively for a few years, returning to Sheridan about eight years ago. They enjoyed living in Arizona in the winter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Esther Booras.

Survivors include her husband of Sheridan; one sister, Mary Mays of Casper; one stepdaughter and three nieces.

Memorials would be appreciated to Sheridan College Foundation for the Nursing Program, Box 6328, Sheridan 82801.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Ferries Funeral Home.
