Lois Blanche Rogers, 87, of Sheridan, WY, died Wednesday, January 28, 2009 in Sheridan Manor.

Mrs. Rogers was born September 11, 1921 in Sheridan, WY to Harry and Alice (Bremer) Williams. She grew up and attended schools in Sheridan, graduating from Sheridan High School in 1939.

After graduation, Lois married Wayne Baker in Sheridan. She was a homemaker, and also worked for Jersey Creamery for many years. After Wayne passed away, Lois married Joe Rogers.

Mrs. Rogers enjoyed sewing, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Wayne Baker, and Joe Rogers; one daughter, Karen Lenz; 2 brothers; and one sister.

Lois is survived by one son, Ronald Baker, (Annie Gail), of Pasco, WA; two daughters, Donna Deming, (Glenn), of Billings, MT, and Margo Johnson, (William), of Sheridan, WY; two brothers, Donald Williams, and Richard Williams, both of Sheridan, WY; two sisters, Emma Jane Martin, of Casper, WY, and Norma Grimm, of West Dundee, IL; 8 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.

Graveside service for Mrs. Rogers will be 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009 in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Goodwin officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Rogers may be made to the First Christian Church, 102 S. Connor St., Sheridan, WY 82801.
