Loren Edwin THRUSH 1921 - 2007 SHS 1939

Loren Thrush Age 85, of Sheridan, WY and formerly of Seattle, WA, died Monday, March 5, 2007, in Westview Health Care Center.

Loren was born June 9, 1921, in Sheridan to David Wesley & Florence (Davis) Thrush. Loren grew up in Sheridan, graduating from SHS with the Class of 1939.

He married Donna June Weldin of Sheridan on June 9, 1942, while working on the Fort Peck Dam at Glasgow, MT. Shortly after, he was called into the Army that included Officer Candidate School and 'Island Hopping' in the South Pacific for a period of 36 months.

Loren then attended Idaho College in Caldwell, ID and there began a banking career with the Small Business Administration throughout the Northwest and Alaska states as an auditor for thirty years. Seattle became their home of 55 years.

Donna preceded Loren in death as did his mother, father and brother, Paul.

Loren is survived by his brother, Earl of Sheridan; Donna's brother, Melvin Weldin and sister, Viola Baum and several nieces and nephews of Washington, Idaho and Wyoming.

Viewing will be 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13th with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14th at Wiggen & Sons Funeral Home, 2003 NW 57th in Seattle, WA.

Local arrangements were under the direction of Champion Ferries Funeral Home in Wyoming.
