Hazel Cosco, 88, of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Hazel was born on January 2, 1921 in Sheridan to Howard and Minnie Riggs. She was a graduate of Sheridan High School.

In 1942 Hazel married John Cosco in Sheridan.

She enjoyed gardening and loved being a homemaker and mother.

Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; and husband.

She is survived by son, Jim Cosco, of Sheridan; and four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Per Hazel’s request cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Her cremains will be interred with her husband, John, in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Kane Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made in Hazel’s name to the Sheridan Senior Citizen’s Center, 211 Smith Street, Sheridan, WY 82801.
