William Schaubel PARTRIDGE 1922 - 1999 SHS 1939

William Schaubel Partridge died Apt 10 1999 alter a courageous struggle with cancer at his home in Draper Utah.

He was born January 20, 1922, in Ranchester, Wyoming to William Clayton Partridge and Elsie Schaubel.

He married Jeannette Nobte March 21, 1942, in Madison Wisconsin. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

He served as a Captain in the Army Air Corps where he received a Medal of Honor for his distinguished service during World War II,

He served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a Bishop, Stake President, Temple worker and completed four missions with his wife. He most recently served as a Patriarch in the Draper Eastridge Stake.

He received his Ph.D. at the University of Utah and worked as a scientist at Atomic Energy Commission and Jet Propulsion Laboratories. He was the Vice President at the University of Utah in charge of Research. He founded Utah Research and Development Company, The Research Institute and Technical Research Associates. He served as on advisor to the National Science Foundation on the Deseret Foundation Committee and with the National Institute of Health. He was on inventor and excellent photographer and enjoyed doing genealogy.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years Jeannette; four children, Nancy Plagge, Dianne (Terry) Killpack, William (Bonnle) Partridge, Carol (Joseph) Rosander; 23 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Murray.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 13 1999 at 12 noon at toe Draper Eastridge Stake Center, 12270 So 1190 E. Friends may call Monday 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Sofie Mort. 4760 So State St and Tuesday 11-11:45 a.m., at the church. Interment, Holiday Memorial Park.
