Memorial services for PHILLIP NOVAKOVICH, 95, will be held at 9:30am Saturday, April 25, 2015 at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Rick Cederholm officiating. A private family burial has already taken place.

Phillip died February 19, 2015 at Community Hospital and cremation has taken place.

Phillip was born February 19, 1920 to Milan and Agnes (Ozanich) Novakovich in Model, Wyoming. For ninety-five years he blessed us with his compassion for people as he served in the Army in World War II and the Wyoming State Highway Patrol protecting and saving lives.

Phillip always enjoyed hunting and fishing with his brothers, sons, and friends. He was quick with a joke and a smile or with a good story of the mountains he loved so much.

He married Ruth Hume and they spent sixty-two years on their journey through this world.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents; nine siblings; and several nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife Ruth of Torrington, Wyoming; his sons Bruce Novakovich of Salem, Oregon and Greg Novakovich of Loveland, Colorado; a brother Gary Novakovich of Delta, Colorado; a sister Lucia Tomaszkiewicz of Lyons, Illinois; and many loving and caring nieces and nephews.
