SHERIDAN - Memorial services for Robert A. Neighbors, 75, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Champion Funeral Home with Fr. David Duprey, the Rev. Raymond Clark and Deacon Joe Kristufek officiating.

Mr. Neighbors died Dec. 21, 1995, at the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center in Sheridan.

He was born March 7, 1920, in Longmont, Colo., the son of Thomas J. and Mary Sadar Neighbors, He attended Holy Name Catholic School and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1939.

Following his graduation from high school, Mr. Neighbors attended the University of Wyoming, and then enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving most of his military service in Cuba.

On May 15, 1953, he married Delchia Lonabaugh in Sheridan.

He was associated with Sheridan Motors for many years until his retirement.

He enjoyed his family and was a member of Elks Lodge No. 520, the V.F.W. and Holy Name Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by two brothers. Eleven J. Neighbors and Raymond T. Neighbors, and his father.

Survivors include his wife of Sheridan, two daughters, Evelyn Dunwoody of Carmel, Ind., and Lesa Neighbors Raths of Sheridan; his mother, Mary Neighbors of Sheridan; and two grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
