OBITUARIES - THE SHERIDAN PRESS -

RANCHESTER -- Ranchester native Harold Willard Lindeen, 79, died Jan. 7, 2001, at his home in Anchorage, Alaska.

Mr. Lindeen was born Dec. 10, 1921, to Harold and Gladys Lindeen.  He attended Sheridan High School.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.  He began his career as a roughneck in the 1950s in Wyoming and moved to Alaska in 1969.  He worked for Eastman Christianson Diamond Products as a core engineer until retirement in 1986.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann; his parents; and a brother, William.

Survivors include two sons, Harold and Mike Lindeen, and daughter, Marcie Musgrave; a sister, Mary Lee Stopka of Sheridan; and seven grandchildren.
