SHERIDAN - Private family services for Margaret H. Williams, 71, were held Aug. 18, 1993, at the Champion Funeral Home in Sheridan.

Mrs. Williams died Aug. 16, 1993, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County of natural causes.

She was born July 23, 1922, at Sheridan, the daughter of Roy L. and Mary (Pelissier) Haywood. On Nov. 15, 1939, she married Clifford L. Williams in Hardin, Mont.

An active lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America, Mrs. Williams was also a member of St. Joseph's Altar & Rosary Society, Holy Name Catholic Church and the Democratic Party.

In addition to her husband, survivors include four sons, Robert L. Williams of Laramie, Earl J. Williams and Stephen D. Williams, both of Tucson, Ariz., and Timothy J. Williams of Sheridan. Also surviving are two daughters, Mary J. Williams of San Angelo, Texas, and M. Patricia Conley of Sheridan; one sister, Janet Hicks of Greeley, Colo.; a brother, Gordon Haywood of Newcastle; and four grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials to the Girl Scouts of Sheridan County be made in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 2007, Sheridan 82801.
