Memorial services for Margaret Len Osgard, 87, of Sheridan and Dixon, Ill., will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Goodwin officiating.

Inurnment will be in Sheridan Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Osgard died May 26, 2008, in Dixon.

She was born April 18, 1921, in Sheridan to Floyd and Bess (Spracklen) Bessey. She grew up and attended schools in Sheridan and was a 1939 graduate of Sheridan High School.

She married Ray Richard Osgard on June 28, 1942. They lived in the Sundance area and, later, in Hamilton, Mont., where she was a secretary in a doctor’s office for a number of years.

She was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed quilting, crafts, flowers and spending time with her family.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Cook of Dixon; and two sisters, Katherine “Kay” Zwickel of Westminister, Calif., and Carol Kelso of Tigard, Ore.
