SHERIDAN - Mass of The Christian Burial for Lorene Wondra Welch, 78, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church with the Rev. Eugene Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow In the Sheridan Elk Cemetery. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. today at Kane Funeral Home.

She died Oct. 8, 1998, at Sheridan County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 5, 1920, to William and Julia Burian Wondra, In Sheridan.

She was married to William P. Welch, In Buffalo.

She worked In Washington D.C., at the Pentagon.

She was a strong supporter of the Sheridan Memorial Hospital, Sheridan College, the Sheridan Library, the Wyo Theatre, and Deaconess Medical Center of Billings, Mont.

She was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church of Sheridan.

She was preceded In death by her parents and her husband.
