Roland Delmer "Rolly" SUIT 1921 - 1996 SHS 1938

Roland "Rolly" Suit, 77, of Billings, passed away Saturday evening, Nov. 9, 1996, at Western Manor Nursing Home.

The son of Edna and Harold Suit, he was born in Marmarth, N.D., on May 5, 1919. Rolly was raised in the Lodge Grass, Mont., area and graduated from high school in Sheridan, Wyo. During World War II, he served in the Merchant Marines.

On Dec. 29, 1950, he married Clara Koelbl and had two daughters, Margo and Sandy.

Rolly farmed and ranched in Montana and Wyoming until he was disabled from a stroke and moved to Billings. He continued to work with his brother Ray at his ranch at Sidney, in between traveling and visiting friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his two brothers, Ed and Ray.

Survivors include his two daughters, Margo Glock and Sandy Bolin and her husband Bob, all of Billings; his sister Betty Matovich of Lewistown; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of one's choice.
