CASPER -- Funeral services for Norman O. Schnorf, 87, will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Bustard's Funeral Home.

He died at his home Feb. 16, 2008.

He was born on Feb. 26, 1920, in Grand Island, Neb. to Goin and Alice schnorf.

They later moved to Sheridan where he attended school and graduated from Sheridan High. After graduating he joined the military service, and fought during WWII in Normandy, France. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

After the leaving the military service he returned to Sheridan and worked as a carpenter. Later he moved to Casper and worked for Standard Oil Refinery where he retired after 34 years.

He enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing in the wonderful Wyoming outdoors.

He is survived by two sons, George Schnorf of Sheridan. Andrew Schnorf and his wife of Glenrock, five grandchildren, five great-granchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was proceded in death by his parents, daughter, Tracy, and three sisters.
