Bernice Pauline SCHILLING Miller 1920 - 1999 SHS 1938

DUBOIS - Funeral services for Bernice P. Miller, 78 of Crowheart, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Dubois, with Rev. Sam Christensen officiating. Burial will be at Dubois Cemetery.

She died Jan. 22, 1999, at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper.

She was born Oct. 16, 1920. to August and Theresea (Leis) Schilling, in Sheridan. She graduated from Sheridan High School in 1938. and Business school in Sheridan.

She was married Sept. 12, 1942. to Fremont W. Miller, in Lindsey, Calif. She lived all her married life at the family home on Dinewoodie Creek, except for the first four years, when her husband was in the service.

She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church and Mt. Calvary LWML. She taught Sunday School for 30 years. She was a member of American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries, High Country Senior Citizens, Farm Bureau, Republican Women. TOW-Homemakers Club, and the Cowbells. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and gardening.

She was co-owner of the family honey business. S

She is survived by tier husband; three sons. James Miller of Sundance, Kenneth Miller of Dubois, and Milton Miller of Dubois; daughter. Elizabeth Niethammer of Riverton: nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister. Violet Fenske Walsh of Grand Junction. Colo.

She was preceded in death by her parents: sister, Regina Hunter; and one grandson.

Memorials to the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, or High-Country Senior Center or the Dubois Museum Association in care of Davis Funeral Home 2203 W. Main Riverton 82501, would be appreciated by her family.
