Elizabeth Grace KETRON Papka 1918 - 2009 SHS 1938

On Sunday morning, March 8, 2009, our beloved mother, Elizabeth Grace Papka, 90, of Billings, went home to Heaven to be reunited with our dad and her infant son and daughter she never got to see.

Grace was born on Dec. 7, 1918, in Denver, Idaho, to William Robert Ketron and Katie (Dazey) Ketron. She grew up in Montana and Wyoming.

On Oct. 21, 1939, she married Carroll L. "Kelly" Papka in Billings. Together, they raised five children.

Grace was a charter member of St. Bernard's Parish, and a member of the Council of Catholic Women, and St. Joan's Circle of St. Bernard's.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kelly; two infants; and her eight brothers and sisters.

Grace is survived by two sons, Ron (Sue) Papka of Reno, Nev., and Nick (Sheri) Kisch of Laurel; three daughters, Carol (Mark) Kelsey and Ellen (Don) Lewis of Billings and Teresa (Frank) Goldy of Chesapeake, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at St. Bernard's Parish. Rite of Committal will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will be receiving guests for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 13, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. The casket will also be open at church prior to Mass.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul.
