Florence L. Watts, 95, of Sheridan, WY died Saturday, November 29, 2014, in Sheridan Manor.

Florence was born July 13, 1919, in Sheridan to John & Mabel (Workman) Hublitz. Florence grew up in the Sheridan area attending Willey School on Prairie Dog Creek for eight years and graduating from Sheridan High School in 1938.

She married Everett Lee Watts on May 2, 1939, in Hardin, MT. They lived in Sheridan where she was baptized into the Methodist Church in 1952. They moved to Riverton, WY in 1957 where she mainly worked in the Woolworth Store. Everett died in 2000 and she returned to Sheridan in 2001.

She enjoyed reading and raising house plants.

Florence was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Florence was the last surviving member of her generation of the Workman family.

Florence is survived by several cousins.

Viewing will be 2:00pm until 4:00pm on Sunday (Dec. 7th) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 11:00am on Monday (Dec. 8th) in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Don Derryberry officiating.

Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
