She died May 3, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

She was a lifelong resident of Sheridan County, born Nov. 2, 1918 and raised in the Parkman area where her parents were ranchers.

She attended Sheridan schools and graduated from Sheridan High School in 1938. After graduation, she worked as a registered nurse for Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County for more than 40 years and retired in 1986.

She married George Glantz on Dec. 24, 1941, in Hardin, Mont., and they made their home in Sheridan.

After retirement, she enjoyed traveling, gardening and reading.

Survivors include her three children, Richard Glantz, Rita Glantz and Robin Duncan and her husband, all of Sheridan; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson and an extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Rosa (Mattes) Erck, her husband, George and seven siblings, Frank, Alice, Louis, Jimmy, Marguerite, Eleanor and Josephine.
