Services for Leslie J. Bateman, 50, of 1635 Merrill, who died Sunday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. today at Relyea Chapel. Interment will be at Cloverdale.

Mr. Bateman was born Nov. 9, 1919, at Acme, Wyo. He married Gladys Cox. He and his family moved to Boise in 1958 and had resided here since. He had been with the Sierra Life Insurance Co. since 1962, and had been its district manager for the past several years.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons, Robert Bateman of Pasadena, Calif., and Rick Bateman of Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Matthews, Albuquerque, N.M.; his father E. R. Bateman of Boise; a brother, Roy Bateman of Portsmouth, N.H., and a grandson, Todd Matthews of Albuquerque, N.M.

Pallbearers will be Herb Richards, Dean Cameron, Jim Winkle, Lyle Uscola, Jan Youngstrom and David Camerau.

Friends may call at the Relyea Mortuary today until 5:30 p.m. and until time of services Wednesday.
