Former Sheridan County resident Lucille B. "Peggy" Holsinger, 86, of Dallas, Ore., died Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Dallas Retirement Village.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery next to the grave of her husband, Edgar Holsinger.

Arrangements are with Bollman Funeral Home of Dallas, Ore., assisted by Kane Funeral Home of Sheridan.

Mrs. Holsinger was born April 30, 1919, in Sterling, Colo.

She married Mr. Holsinger on June 19, 1938, in Sheridan. She was a librarian for the Big Horn School District for many years until 1984, when she retired. Afterward, she and Mr. Holsinger owned Gospel Garden Bookstore in Sheridan for 10 years.

Mrs. Holsinger helped establish a Christian school library in Sheridan.

Survivors include a daughter, Dixie L. Roberts of Salem, Ore.; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Union Gospel Mission in Salem or Cornerstone Christian Church in Sheridan.
