Cremation has taken place for Margaret Buckley, 86, of Sheridan.

Mrs. Buckley died March 21, 2007, in Sheridan Manor.

She was born May 13, 1920, in Sheridan to William Hugh and Beulah F. Ausmus. After high school she went to work for Mountain Bell Telephone Co. in Sheridan.

She married Archie Wentz in 1941. They had two children. In 1949 she moved to Edgemont, S.D. In 1958 the couple divorced, and she went back to work for Mountain Bell in Casper.

In 1964 she married C.G. Buckley. They later moved to Grand Junction, Colo., where she worked for the telephone company and raised and showed Appaloosa horses.

She retired from the phone company in 1975. In 1980 the couple divorced and she returned to Sheridan. She worked for Sheridan College for 10 years.

Survivors include one brother, Bill Ausmus; one son, Roger Wentz of Sheridan; one daughter, Sheri Gravies of Sheridan; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
