Helen Mae FAKTOR Yager 1919 - 1993 SHS 1937

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - Longtime Sheridan, Wyo., resident Helen Mae Yager, 75, passed away Sunday, April 11, 1993, at Westview Health Care Center after a short illness.

Mrs. Yager was born in Mason City, Iowa, on Oct 3, 1919, the daughter of Joseph and Trulye (Madison) Faktor. She came to the Sheridan, Wyo., area with her family at the age of 11.

On Sept 19, 1940, she was united in marriage to W.A. "Dick" Yager in Hardin. He preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1992.

Mrs. Yager worked with her husband, Dick, in his auction and furniture business for 35 years. Her greatest enjoyment in life was the time she spent with her family and her dog Heide. She belonged to St Peter's Episcopal Church and the St. Hilda Guild and St Margaret Guild of SL Peter's Episcopal Church.

Also preceding her in death was one son, Richard Alan Yager, and an infant granddaughter.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Shirley Yager, of Sheridan, Wyo.; one sister, Dorothy Berg, of Pepin, Wis.; her grandchildren, Chris Yager of Sheridan Wyo., Amy Yager of Laramie, Wyo., Jackie Yager of Billings, Debbie Yager and Melanie Yager, both of Clarkston, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1993, at St. Peter's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Canon Raymond Clark officiating. Interment will follow in the Elks Cemetery.

Memorials, in memory of Mrs. Yager, may be made to St. Peter's Episcopal Church or a charity of the donor's choice, co Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, P.O. Box 2007, Sheridan, Wyo. 82801.
